Feedback request - Palliative Care
on 17 August
Feedback please - Resource & Capability Framework for Palliative Care
Dear Nursing Colleagues
The Ministry of Health is undertaking a project to develop a Resource and Capability Framework for Palliative Care. The framework is primarily intended for the use of District Health Boards and hospices to guide and assist service planning and funding, and is integral to the completion of the Specialist Palliative Care Service Specifications.
A working draft is attached for consultation and has been presented at a number of forums around the country. The next stage of the consultation is a questionnaire which is being circulated to a wide range of stakeholders to seek feedback on the development of this framework.
Consultation for the framework closes 5 pm, 28 September 2011
The framework information and questionnaire are attached here for your perusal and comments.

Alternatively, I am collating comments on behalf of the College of Nurses, and welcome your feedback and suggestions via email or through the College forum
Kind Regards
