The National Heart Foundation of New Zealand is now accepting applications for funding - The A. H. Couch Trust Heart Foundation Scholarship
on 8 MarchDear colleague,
The Heart Foundation and the A. H. Couch Trust are proud to be working together to award the A. H. Couch Trust Heart Foundation Scholarship.
The A. H. Couch Trust was established in November 1972 through the generosity of the late Arthur Herbert Couch. Earlier that year Arthur suffered a serious heart attack and was rushed into Auckland Hospital. He survived the experience thanks to the expert care he received, and with gratitude he decided to establish a fund providing financial support for a range of cardiology needs.
50 years since that day, the Heart Foundation and the A. H. Couch Trust are now working in partnership to promote the support of promising cardiology trainees who are planning to carry out heart research in New Zealand.
We are pleased to announce that applications for the A. H. Couch Trust Heart Foundation Scholarship are open.
Guides and format for applications:
Our guidelines for the A. H. Couch Trust Heart Foundation Scholarship and other Heart Foundation research funding opportunities for 2022, are available in the help section of the Heart Foundation's research grants system, where applicants are able to create and submit a research funding application for consideration.
Key dates and contact details:
Applications for the A. H. Couch Trust Heart Foundation Scholarship open today; Monday, 7 March 2022 and close at 5pm on Monday, 18 April 2022. Please feel free to contact our Research Grants Liaison with any questions: researchgrants@heartfoundation.org.nz.
