Tēnā koe,
Our current Training for Independence contracts are set to expire on 30 June 2023, and we’re looking at ways we can improve these services to better meet the needs of our clients.
To help do this, we want to set up an advisory group to provide thoughts, feedback, and insights on a new community-based rehabilitation service (Training for Independence).
We’re keen to have a diverse range of suppliers represented in this group to ensure different perspectives and needs are considered.
We’re particularly interested in those with experience in delivering rehabilitation to clients in an interdisciplinary and collaborative environment. They should also be able to apply best practice and provide culturally responsive services in their communities.
This could include, but is not limited to:
- physiotherapists
- occupational therapists
- social workers
- dietitians
- registered nurses
- psychologists
- counsellors.
This is an exciting opportunity to partner with suppliers to ensure this service delivers the best health outcomes for our clients into the future.
We anticipate the time commitment will be 4 workshops of 1-2 hours each. You will be offered payment in line with ACC’s fees framework in acknowledgement of your time and effort.
The first of these workshops is proposed to take place between 11am and 12pm on 3 August 2022. Further meetings are scheduled for 17 August, 14 September and 19 October.
