The youth-led movement inspired by Greta Thunberg is returning to the streets around the world on Friday.
Here in Aotearoa, the resurgence comes after difficulties created by Covid-19 and challenges around indigenous leadership inside School Strike 4 Climate NZ.
As a result, the various events in Tāmaki Makaurau, Ngāmotu, Pōneke and Ōtautahi are being organised independently by local groups – each with their own set of priorities, but united in a call for global climate justice. More information about the actions is accessible at the links below:
