Goodfellow - Acne 2024

Ensure your knowledge is up to date on isotretinoin!

Acne is more than just a skin condition; it can lead to significant anxiety and social isolation and commonly results in permanent scarring if not managed early and correctly. Unplanned pregnancies whilst on acne medications result in significant harm.

As part of the session, Dr. Orna McGinn, GP with a special interest in women’s health will guide us through essential aspects of managing acne: why it’s crucial to prevent pregnancy during Isotretinoin treatment, what forms of contraception are acceptable, and when and how oral contraceptive pills can be an effective part of acne management.

Join us online for Acne: Comprehensive management and prescribing of Isotretinoin, on Saturday 2 November 2024.
