NPNZ AWARDS 2024
Nurse Practitioners New Zealand is excited to announce that they will be hosting a brand-new event: NPNZ Awards 2024. This event will take place within the NPNZ Gala Dinner that is being held at the 2024 NPNZ Conference in Rotorua on Friday the 18th of October.
This new initiative will recognise the outstanding contributions that are made by Mātanga Tapuhi/Nurse Practitioners working across Aotearoa New Zealand. Their accomplishments, dedication, effort, and inspirational stories will be celebrated, and achievements recognised formally.
NPNZ strongly encourages nominations from across Aotearoa New Zealand in relation to all types of roles that are held by Mātanga Tapuhi/Nurse Practitioners. Nominations are open to all specialities and all areas of practice, education, research, leadership, and innovation.
Please read through the NPNZ award categories, their application criteria and consider who you may wish to nominate, or whether you may just like to nominate yourself!
Once a nomination is received, it will be reviewed by the NPNZ award committee alongside other nominations, and a winner will be selected. Winners will be presented with their NPNZ Award by a range of inspirational speakers on the 18th October 2024 at the NPNZ Gala Dinner.
All nominee applications must include a detailed application letter to the NPNZ awards committee, that includes information on the nominee, why you would like to nominate them and examples of how you feel the nominee has met the chosen award criteria. Please note that a nominee can be nominated for more than one award category. In this case, a separate award application will need to be completed and submitted for each award category. If an NPNZ executive team member receives a formal nomination, then the stated member will be formally excluded from the NPNZ award committee review process. Nominations are open to non-NPNZ members, however only an NPNZ member maybe nominated for the Mātanga Tapuhi/Nurse Practitioner of the Year award.
Please send completed applications to secretary@npnz.org.nz for consideration.
For any enquiries, please also contact us via the above email.
2024 NPNZ Awards Deadlines: Nominations open 1st July 2024 and close 11th August 2024.
