The Heart foundation offers a great opportunity and scholarship for a nurse to prepare for NP practice in a cardiology area practice. The Nurse Practitioner Training Fellowship offers funding including for University fees.
Please see the link below for further information regarding eligibility for this scholarship. Please note that this is a 2 year scholarship and should be applied for 2 years prior to completion of the NP training programme. Please direct your questions to the Heart foundation for the Scholarship and to your University regarding the best timing for your application based on your readiness for NP practice.

Through the generosity of our caring supporters, who have provided donations and financial support, the National Heart Foundation of New Zealand has awarded over $85 million since 1968, to fund specialist training for Cardiologists and life-saving research projects into heart disease – New Zealand’s single biggest killer.
