Introduction:
I bring a wealth of experience with a clinical background in critical care nursing, having served as a Senior Nurse, and Nurse Manager in NZ, my career progressed into senior leadership roles in the UK. This included regional positions with a focus on critical care, education and service commissioning across a large geographical area.
Prior to my current role I held a leadership position in the emergency departments in a large hospital in Auckland, currently, I am the Head of Nursing and Clinical Services at an NGO in Auckland, where I lead a diverse and multidisciplinary team.
I have a deep passion for leadership development and firmly believe that leadership extends beyond job titles—it’s about influence, integrity, and impact. Recently, I’ve focused on conscious leadership, which emphasises self-awareness, emotional intelligence, and ongoing personal growth. I believe this approach fosters authenticity and empowers leaders to inspire trust, be collaborative, and develop resilience within themselves and their teams.
I particularly enjoy partnering with clinicians at all levels by ‘digging’ deep we explore core values, beliefs, practices and mindset —helping them make meaningful and sustainable improvements for better outcomes.
